At a meeting in Chapel Hill this spring, the Coalitioners and the UNC Archivists determined that the next step for sustaining the archive project would be to identify an Advisory Council. The Council will represent the Coalition community and will advise the UNC Library staff on the development of the project over time.
Irwin Venick offered to serve as the Council’s first Chair and Nancy Raybin agreed to serve as Vice Chair. Irwin and Nancy will be working to build council membership to include representatives from all aspects of the Coalition story. Can you join the Council? At-large Council Positions are open to any Coalitioner, regardless your era of origin. Contact Irwin if you want to know more: ivenick@aol.com
