Personal/Professional Growth

For many of the university students and newly minted professionals who joined the SHC, months of living and working with low-income people in Appalachia and west Tennessee had a profound effect on their lives and careers. Former members of the SHC reflect on some of ways in which they were influenced and enriched by this experience.
